The Last Exam Paper

It all started on May 2003, the only course I had to take since they provide me the 'money' to further my studies. My dream was to take medical, but sadly, no one wanted to offer it to me. Therefore, I took electrical and electronics engineering, my second choice.

The hardships started on 2004 as I’m officially became an undergraduate. It makes me to think a lot whether I’m strong enough to take electrical and electronics engineering as my background. We have to take 17 to 21 credit hours per semester. It equivalents to 6 or 7 subjects and we have to cover all of it within 5 months. Are they totally mad? In upper secondary schools, some of us have to take 9 to 13 subjects within 2 years. And also, this year, I bought my first bike, an old and rusty Zephyr. Got one girl that time, but sadly, she’s just my ‘scandal’, lol. She doesn’t want to get into serious relationship, but want to hang out with me. So I presumed she’s just my scandal.

First time in my life, I failed one subject in 2005. It was Vector Calculus. My GPA drop like hell that semester. I was scolded by my parents regarding to my previous academic’s performances. Maybe, I took it lightly since the ‘company’ supports me, and I don’t have to spend a lot of money in here. I felt really depressing in those semesters.

And again, I failed one subject in 2006. This time, it was not mathematical subject, it was electrical subject, Power Electronics. I partly blamed my lecturer for it since he’s always on vacation for 2 to 3 weeks, constantly. Most of my colleagues will be doing their industrial training for 8 months in early 2007, but not for me. I’d to finish my ‘lag’ subjects in order to do my internship.

I learned to become fully independent in early 2007 since most of my colleagues were doing their 8 months internship. I make friends with juniors and seniors and most of them have the same passion as mine, motorcycling. Alhamdulillah, I got a really good result (for me la, lol) in the second semester of 2007 and also got a girl friend. I’m grateful it last only for 3 months since she gave me a lot of headache. But, I’m really be thankful to her because she pushed me to study hard, although sometimes, it’s quite annoying, lol.

Early 2008 was my best time in this university. Quite a number of activities I’ve done in that short period. I hang out, a lot, with buddies. But then, the worst thing happened to me after the midterm break. I was involved in an accident with my motorcycle, not quite far from my house. I broke my right palm, had some severe injuries on both of my knees and my left palm. That time, I was on my way to Low Yatt to buy some computer’s stuffs. I didn’t attend lectures and missed quite number of tests, quizzes and project’s presentations for about 2 months. I felt really depressing since this will be my last semester in this university. I had to cover all of the things I had missed within 2 weeks time and yeah, I was busy like hell.

My dedication pays off. Today, I just finished my last exam paper, and I’m relieved about it. Next semester, I’ll be doing my internship, and then, here comes the real world, the career world.

Hi guys!

I might not active for a while in blogging since I was involved in a motorcycle's accident last Saturday, on my way to buy some computer's accesories in Kuala Lumpur. I had quite a lot of injuries. My knees and my left palm are the worst. Futhermore, I'll have difficulty in typing and writing since I broke my right thumb and had a plaster casting around it. The doctor asked me to rest for 3 weeks. That's not a good news since I'm really near to the end of semester and this semester would be my last semester in my university.

See ya!

MotoGP Championship 2008 in Estoril, Doha, Qatar

Oh man, I missed it again, although they run replays on it in Astro. The race was on 9th of March 2008. I watched it on YouTube.com and surprised with Rossi performances. He's not performed well during qualifying and race. Maybe, his era will end soon, but hope not. Nevertheless, I amazed with his teamate's performances, Jorge Lorenzo. Although, he didn't won the race, at least he finished in top three. The final result is, Stoner won the race, Lorenzo in 2nd and Pedrosa in third.

Rossi, you'll have to work very very very hard this time.

Kabuki Riderz's Family Day In Collaboration With RMC In Cameron Highlands

Last weekend, me and some of my buddies from UTP went to Cameron Highland for a vacation. The day was last Saturday. We prepared all the equipments and beverages a few days earlier. We stayed there for 2 days 1 night. About 24 persons joined this event, we called it 'Kabuki Riderz's Family Day. They were, myself, Dayah, Ida, Anis, Feno, Husna, Meera, Anas, Bob, JJ, Shin, Nazli and others (sorry you guys for not mentioning all the names).

On the first day, the day we started our journey from UTP, we managed to gather up ourselves in front of our university's Main Hall at about 10.30 am, 1 hour late, lol. About 5 cars and 3 motorcycles on that day, plus 1 car that'll join us later at Cameron Highland, that were Nabil's with his friends from RMC. Then, we headed to 'Gerai Nasi Lemak Kaki Bukit' at Simpang Pulai for breakfast. Unfortunately, the foods were finished, I presumed. So, we headed straight to Cameron Highland. There're quite a number of superbikes that time.

Before we reached our final destination, we stop by at a small waterfall beside the road and took several pictures. Then we stop by a farm to have some strawberry and passion fruit ice-creams. They're costed about RM1 per ice-cream. After that, we stop at Brincang to have our lunch. The foods were quite tasty, depends on which bistros you went in. Next, we headed to our place to overnight. Several hours later, Nabil and his friends joined us at the guest house. We packed ourselves up and then wait for our 'late evening event', that is 'BBQ Time', lol.

Unfortunately, we didn't finished all the pieces of chickens that night. But, at least, everyone full. Afterwards, we did some activities before we all went to bed.

The next morning, after we'd our breakfast, we went out for a while to have some strawberry's delicacies. After a while, we headed back to our guest house to pack back all of our equipments and then took some photos before we leave.

Right after that, we headed to the Cameron Valley, a tea's plantation area and took some photos of us and the scenaries.

Before we headed back to UTP, we did our last minute shopping, and then we went to Ipoh to have our lunch and dinner. We took some bikers' photos with their superbikes when returning back to Simpang Pulai.

Overall, it was fun and hope we can do it again in the future.

Cameron Highland's Ride

The journey started from my home in Kuala Lumpur. I departed at about 8 am. As usual, I meet the regulars at a stall in Simpang Pulai. I reached there at about 10.15 am and met my colleagues, Bob, Ida, Halim and Meor. They had to go to Cameron Highland to find a place to stay for the Riders Malaya - Kabuki Riders' family day, which will held next week. Bro Azman and the gangs reached later at the stall. My colleagues decided to depart earlier to avoid traffic, since it is Sunday.

The crowd of bikers near to the stall increased during noon. Most of them ride BMW's motorcycles. Therefore, to avoid the traffic become worse, we went up.

We stopped at Green View plantation area and met several riders.

Then, at about 1 pm, we headed home, I meant, I headed to my campus in Tronoh, huhu.
